Welcome to the random world of Krissy! I'm a 34 year old, figuring out this thing called life - in Texas. California born - Wisconsin raised.
I think I should start out by saying I was home-schooled...and then they all say:
"Oh, that makes sense!"
But seriously, being home-schooled shaped a lot of who I am and led me to pick up a lot of hobbies. One of those which included photography!
I became a computer lover in my teens where I taught myself coding, website design, photo editing, graphic design, etc. I ended up with with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
While in college - I had a part-time job at a restaurant/wedding venue and it honestly changed my life (although I didn't know it at the time). I fell in love with weddings and knew I wanted to be involved with them, in some way.
I have always enjoyed taking photos because it captures a moment that is otherwise only a memory in your mind. Whether it's weddings, couples or family shoots...I get to capture someone's moments that they will have forever.
Weddings are my absolute favorite because for someone's big day I'm not only their photographer, but I get to be their support system, a resource, a friend. I get to capture one if not the best day of their life. That is my favorite part about what I get to do.
I am my father's daughter and
I am not afraid of anything.
WHAT DRIVES ME
I believe everything happens for a reason. We only have one life and tomorrow is never a guarantee.
With that being said, I believe photography is one of the most beautiful things in our life. It captures moments you will never experience again.
I want to capture every moment you want to remember. It does not matter how simple or extravagant the moment is. If you want to have it documented, it is equally important to me as it is to you. Photographs are a moment frozen in time.
